Want to work with a title insurance agent in your own community? You’ve come to the right place!

Preparing for closing is hard work. It involves an entire team of professionals, and a lot of documentation, including legal filings. That’s why it’s so important to make sure that you hire people that you can trust to carry out the process correctly. Most people buying homes will have a lot of questions along the way. Unfortunately, there are providers involved in real estate transactions that may not always have your best interests at the forefront of their priority list.

First National Title Company is Arkansas’ largest independent title company (signifying that FNTC is not owned by a financial institution or a real estate company). We opened for business in 1997, with two employees, and have expanded into 22 convenient locations throughout Arkansas. We’re big enough to offer a team of over 200 title services and real estate closing professionals, but small enough to care. You will always be able to work with agents in or near your community, and never have to sit on hold waiting for someone sitting in a cubicle on the other side of the world. You’ll always be able to get a member of our team on the phone when you have questions, or better yet, enjoy a cup of coffee and personal attention.

A title insurance policy is a very important way to protect yourself when you purchase a home. Over the course of a property’s lifetime, it’s bought and sold several times. Each time that the title changes hands, there is the potential for title problems to arise, commonly known as “title clouds.” Common title clouds include misfiled paperwork and clerical errors, as well as more serious problems such as liens on the property, fraud, and unknown heirs. Our team of title researchers are the best in the business, and if there are problems, they will find them. After their work is complete, we will then issue you a title insurance policy. The policy will be effective for as long as you own the home, and will protect you from out of pocket legal fees in the event of a title dispute.
