Whether you’re buying a new home for your family or an investment property to resell for a profit, it’s essential to ensure there are no surprises on your closing date! No matter how many times you’ve bought or sold properties in the past, it takes an entire team of professionals to handle all the research, paperwork, and legal filings. Our team at First National Title (FNT) has proudly served The Natural State since 1997, and we’re ready to put our experience to work for you!
We take great pride in being Arkansas’ largest independent title company and are committed to providing professional and efficient service customized to our clients’ needs. We have 26 locations to serve you throughout The Natural State, and you’ll always be able to work directly with an experienced agent in or near your community. Contact us as soon as your offer is accepted, and we’ll ensure that the proper conveyance of title is accomplished.
Before a home or land can be sold, the owner must demonstrate ownership with a pathway to conveyance without any encumbrances. Most encumbrances (commonly known as “title clouds”) are due to outstanding debts, which the owner must resolve before closing can proceed. And if a previous owner died without a will, there could also be previously unknown heirs with legitimate property claims. Once the title search is complete and our title agents can confirm the title is unencumbered, you will be ready to proceed to closing.
Once closing has been successfully consummated and all disbursements and recordings have been completed, we’ll issue you an owner’s title insurance policy from a top underwriter that will be effective for as long as you own the home. We proudly offer title insurance products through First American Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company, Commonwealth Land and Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, and we’ll help you select a policy that’s the best fit for your property.
Title insurance enables you to enjoy true peace of mind as you move into your new home! In the unlikely event of a future title dispute, your policy protects you. To learn more about title insurance or property closings, contact us online or at any of our 26 Arkansas locations listed below.
