Contact us as soon as your offer is accepted and the land you are purchasing or selling is under contract, and we'll ensure that you enjoy the smoothest possible experience from start to finish! Before any property or land tract can change hands, the seller must first be able to convey clear title. This means the Seller must be able to convey title that is free from title defects. Most title defects result from liens placed by creditors, or issues with the chain of title. There may also be previously unknown heirs with a legitimate claim to the property if a previous owner died without a will. FNT's title agents will leave no stone unturned to ensure that clear title can be conveyed. Additionally, FNT's escrow staff will be preparing for a clean and efficient closing. As part of the closing process, you'll be expected to review and sign multiple documents. FNT's helpful closing agents will review all documents with you to ensure that you understand the documents, and you're always welcome to ask as many questions as you like!
Once our closing agents have finalized the transaction and the sale is consummated, our final step will be to issue you an owner's title insurance policy.
